A sharp, false-color composite of narrow band visible and broad band near-infrared data from the 8-meter Gemini South Telescope, the entire view spans about 20 light-years through a region of the nebula sometimes called the Southern Cliff.

E.S.P. premiered as a contest show to determine the amount of extra sensory perception possessed by contestants, all of whom were first screened by a staff of psychologists. After only three telecasts the quiz format was replaced by dramas entitled Tales Of E.S.P., which depicted people with the abilities that the show had been trying to find. Vincent Price was host of both shows.
